Numbers don’t lie! A labor union based in Wentzville is attempting to buy an election in Columbia for the 5th Ward City Council seat. They’ve given over $12,000 total in donations this election cycle to candidate Gregg Bush as of today, March 31, with a sizeable majority being received just this week.
Why are they trying to influence CoMo’s municipal election at the last minute? Why is this Wentzville-based group so concerned about Columbia’s issues that they’re willing to spend this much for a city council seat?
